I'll have to keep my physio up and my running shoes on I suspect.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6723937561506139096.post-46746822560486087452008-07-04T04:33:00.000+10:002008-07-04T04:33:00.000+10:00Yeh ,but 3 prior attempts at other posts didn't ma...Yeh ,but 3 prior attempts at other posts didn't mate . (operater problem I expect).

One of those was a rather long comment on your "Don't take them with you post".

I know a little about the subject ,being a liver transplant recipient myself . For what it's worth I had some advice for you to pass on to your friend who needs a donor organ.

I don't have a lot of time at the moment, to fully elaborate. I'll have to work on that again. But in summary tell your friend to never give up. Stay positive and focused. Really positive and focused !! Never say if, always say when. And mean it. It helps to get through the hard times he will have.

It's no picnic. But I'm still here when the experts and most of the family had almost written me off.
Sure beats the alternative.

I had to shut down the business, and cookie and I had to sell our beautiful property and move, just before the miracle happened and my donor organ turned up. The family helped us shift, and some of the sods who had written me off where merrily dividing up and helping themselves to a lot of my stuff. Workshop gear, Tools, Toys, Fishing gear, blokes will know what I mean.

Anyhoo, needless to say those ones are of my xmas card list. The rest of the family where fantastic. And life is good.

As a long time lurker, at Tims old sites and a full time RWDB minion I have admired your wit, your wisdom, and productivity, (what, 11,000+) So good job to pull on this project. I can't always pop in to say hello. But will appreciate whatever you throw at the page.

Regards BillAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6723937561506139096.post-71975392753199157772008-07-03T07:49:00.000+10:002008-07-03T07:49:00.000+10:00Aussie old fart - it worked!Aussie old fart - it worked!kaehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05819693069445947851noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6723937561506139096.post-73356825009975730732008-07-03T03:23:00.000+10:002008-07-03T03:23:00.000+10:00TestTestAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6723937561506139096.post-5329941008660128492008-07-02T20:43:00.000+10:002008-07-02T20:43:00.000+10:00I hope the poor bastard who returned to his car to...I hope the poor bastard who returned to his car to find several tickets had his day in court.
