During my journey home from work today I stopped to buy petrol...
Someone had left their car in the servo driveway and was wandering around like a lost soul. I was patient, but it was running out. It's been an 'ordinary' day.
Finally she got hold of the service station's ex owner, a mechanic*, who still trades from there. He had his jumper leads and car-zapper thing. They pushed the car out, and I noticed when I had to reverse a little that there was a nice ute behind me.
As I prepared to fill the car with petrol a soldier got out of the ute, in cams. Quite presentable. He'd been waiting patiently, too. I smiled.
He smiled at me.
All was right with the world.
*He's very good at saving damsels in distress. He saved me just before I got my new car!

It's amazing what a smile does, it's friendly and very disarming. Like this :) or :-)
My day today was like this (_!_)
Tomorrow will be better.

No it wasn't a bouncing boobs day. Today wasn't any better, it was another (_*_) of a day. Now just looking forward to the weekend.
