andToddler twins found dead in Brisbane
Police are investigating the suspicious deaths of 18-month-old twins in Brisbane's south.
A relative of the children called police to a home in Sunnybank at about 7pm AEST.
Officers found the bodies of a boy and girl in the house.
Acting Detective Inspector Darren Carnes says the deaths are suspicious.
Parents may face murder chargesHow do you let a child starve to death? It would have taken months for these kids to die. I don't blame the neighbours; these days sometimes it's best not to interfere... however if anyone had suspicions perhaps a call to child welfare... then again, they're so overworked that perhaps nothing would have happened.
The parents of 18-month-old twins, found dead last night, could be charged with murder as soon as Thursday, a Brisbane court heard today.
