No Iguana's charges?

It appears that
... the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions had also advised against any federal charges being laid.
and
... from the NSW Director of Public Prosecutions whose view is that there is insufficient evidence to support any criminal charges against NSW law.
and
Mr Golla said it was important to highlight that police had not been investigating the argument itself, but allegations Ms Neal had pressured witnesses into altering their evidence after the event.

"It's been brought to my attention that now they haven't been charged with an offence there is a question over whether we were telling the truth or not," said Mr Golla, who has since been fired from the bar.
However, it will be very interesting to see what Kevin does about Belinda Neal - she's already announced that she won't be standing in the next election. John Della Bosca was suspended by Morris Iemma.

I reckon everyone'd know who Belinda Neal is now... and not in a nice way, not nice at all.

Belinda Neal seems to think that she's been vindicated. Well, yes. Of doing something illegal I suppose, however, it was still unacceptable behaviour and the too-ing and fro-ing after the inicident with police interviews was extremely poor form.

This result is beyond belief. The only good thing to come from it will be that Rudd will struggle to defend the decision when challenged in Parliament, and she'll have her head deeply embedded inside and under her shell for a long time.

And she'll most likely not be re-elected. Mehaul

Be interesting to see what Rudd does.

Maybe he'll form a committee?
