Hubby recently (Monday last) began taking meds to control his blood pressure. Hoping to avoid this scenario, which seems common in our age group (just a bit younger than Mr. Guest). Hubby is a driver for the handicap bus, taking dialysis patients to treatment, blind folks to Walmart, etc. He deals with many who are our age that are stroke patients, in therapy to attempt to regain what the stroke has taken. It's the thing that finally convinced him to take the meds.

Tragic. Strokes are unpredictable.
Let's just hope he recovers. There is a chance he will.
