I'm no stranger to hospital hallucinations (although via medications, not brain injury), so I know how frightening it can be not to be able to trust your own perceptions. Congratulations to Mr. Leak for being able to hold onto his skills and talents. If he's got that, the rest won't matter.
I've been brain-injured, about 12 years ago. No garden party, I assure you. With time & patience, & keeping my world small, most people - including my hubby & kid - don't remember it's a problem.
Never had hallucinations, but I have to double-check some 'memories' for accuracy at times.
Bill is a walking example of the miracles of the human body & the G-d given talents & technology of our society.
