When I lived in Adelaide during the 90s the only Shield game I went to each year was the SA vs Qld game. It seemed that Haydon scored big centuries most if not each game. Yet it was years later before he was able to cement his position. He was rare in that he intimidated good fast bowlers. Let's hope it's not too long before we find a suitable replacement at Test level. Mehaul
