Fishy research "proves" fish feel pain

I mentioned yesterday in an email to a fellow blogger that the world has gone mad with "Carbon Farmers", I think this puts the icing on the cake!

CALLS for angling to be banned have resurfaced after a Norwegian study suggested fish do feel pain - at least when heated in a laboratory.

Fishermen rejected the claim. "This research doesn't really demonstrate anything about angling as we don't fish with toasters," said Mark Lloyd, chief executive of the UK Angling Trust.
