Just watching the "Border Patrol" programme on teev, set in NZ.
Some girl about to commence a skiing holiday has been busted with a small amount of marijuana on her person. The dog sniffed it out, the woman was sent home on the next flight, the next morning, after a stay in the Auckland watchhouse.
The voice over said her skiing holiday had just been "tragically cut short".
Tragedy, what tragedy?

Tragic would have been her skiing into a tree stoned out of her brain and her parents having to ID the remains. A hefty fine and 3 months in jail would have her thinking about her next purchase of dope and her supplier thinking about another form of income.
Now this IS tragic!
