Oh to be just 51 again....a mere child. I'm beginning to understand why my Mom has always said that getting old isn't for the faint-hearted. The best thing about all the aches and pains is that it lets you know that you're still alive and that all your parts are still attached.
If we consult, say, the Lancet, they’d probably give your age as 2,973 - counting all the people you’ve bumped into and nudged in crowded places like railway stations and rock concerts. You might argue that those incidents were accidents and have nothing whatsoever to do with a person’s age, but collateral damage of any kind would not have occurred if you weren’t there in the first place!
Glad you said 'lots', but I must warn you, I'm a top shelf fan... not much of a beer fan, except on a very hot day (or after mowing), having a shandy... you do know what a shandy is?
Kae, I don't drink, beer OR top shelf, but if you show up in Jax I'll buy you a sweet tea...with or without lemon! (Or take you to where Handsome Son-in-law works and let some old retired Navy Chief buy your Top Shelf!)
Sorry I missed the day, hope it was as fine as you are. The only excuse I have is that time and brain are limited...and I was planning a 3-day trip out of town with kids and granddaughter. Maybe over-thinking. Anyway, a belated VERY happy birthday, and a wish for many more of the same!

How can you be sure you’re 51 though?

I'll take you up on that one day!
Do you Merrikkans know what a shandy is?
It's beer and lemonade. Not lemonade like you have, it's lemonade soda, the clear stuff... oh dear, this is getting worse!
