Polygamy, polygyny, polyandry - some interesting arguments in comments

The spokestwit for the 7th C.

Many of the 158 comments are priceless.

Update:
Legal Eagle at Skepticlawyer has written about this and Skepticlawyer in comments speaks of ancient Roman law... very interesting!

And here are some more accurate comments too.

Still we all know the Muslim way - which is to colonise the countries where they settle. So Trad will probably put this down to an inconvenience only to try again some time. If there is one thing that I will never tolerate it is the treatment of women as objects to be used in whatever way Muslim men choose.

And while we laugh at Trad's suggestions and his notions such as, "the ultimate in giving is for a woman to give a fraction of her husband's time and affection to another woman who is willing to share with her" what should be troubling is the thinking that is behind this mediaeval creed. While Trad is a spokesman, no doubt there would be many moslems who hold the same views and they are living in our society - just like a cancer.

The historical way of Mohammedan men is to take possession of land, treasure and women by any manner of banditry whatsoever. Them’s the rules!

But they won’t put one over us, because in the final analysis, when it comes to the rule of law and judgment in court, our guys wear wigs!
