EDWARD Woodward, the British actor who made a big impact on Australian audiences in 1980 in the title role of Bruce Beresford's Boer War film, Breaker Morant, as well as on stage in Private Lives, has died of pneumonia and other ailments in hospital at Truro, Cornwall. He was 79.
Shoot straight you bastards.....
He had a show here in the States for awhile about a guy who fixes problems for the downtrodden. He was like a one man A-team with style and class.
It was called the Equalizer and when not at sea, I watched it because I liked the man's work.
