We were visiting our daughter recently, on the day she came home with her new Nespresso machine. You don't just walk into a shop and buy one. A team of 'consultants' descends on you and pampers you until you are purring and compliant. The machines don't cost much, are simple to use and they make great coffee. But, like today's printers, they tap the suppliers into a river of gold. You can only use Nespresso cartridges and they work out at about twice the price we pay for coffee beans. That said, the money you save when compared to buying a $2k automatic espresso machine will go a long way towards buying expensive Nespresso cartridges.
I prefer someone else to make my coffee for me - I had an espresso coffee machine, used about four times by the ex. It sat in a cupboard for many years until some time after he left when a person I worked with expressed a desire to have one. I gave it to her.
Like you, I have nothing to say on the other bloke, but I agree with you on John Malkovich. A great actor and he comes from a fine family of Malkoviches. Because of the family's long association with Newport Music Festival, some of them should, perhaps, be even more famous than John.
The shorter version is that Clooney gets skittled by the piano and when he's met by St Peter (JM), a deal is done and Clooney hands over his coffee machine and goes back into the shop to buy another, and the TV falls behind him as he enters the shop.
@ Carpe - I got the coffee-making machine I plan never to be without, last year for Christmas. It's a plain old ordinary stainless steel electric percolator. Makes great coffee, keeps it NICE and HOT, and I just love it. We'd tried assorted coffemakers over the years - the last one I bought was $7US at Target & it lasted longer than the rest. I've had 2 other percolators, too, but went with Mr.Coffee clones because of cost. Won't do it again. This percolator replaced the Target cheapie, and I will not have anything else.
No matter who their spokesperson is (hey, Mr. Coffee never did get beat, to my way of thinking).

John Malkovich is why I like the advert.

I haven't met the Newport Malkoviches.

You haven't met the Newport Malkoviches? I could arrange an introduction if you wish.
Although, come to think of it we have been dropped of their Christmas Card list, so they may have forgotten us.
Nice couch, but these fools have nothing on the family Jugulum drip filter machine,.......just sayin' is all.
But a nice couch......
;)
One poof and Malkovich & the 2 girls are in heaven?
A bit ponderous. Could have done with a slightly snappier script.

That's the best version.
I think that's the one they're showing on the telly. Quite cute.
