It gives a new meaning to the term 'hot pants' though they used to be worn only by nubile females. How times change.

(It does make one wonder how she could actually do it).

And at the other end of the scale, we have this. It's one thing for the neighbours to be disturbed (paper thin walls?) but passers by and the postman?

What is it with Indians and burning body parts? The Townsville crematorium burnt down in 1989 after an Indian cremation went wrong. The reason I was told was that family members insisted throwing garlands onto the box until the very last minute and things got out of control.
My father's cremation was the next day and when we arrived the building was a black shambles and we had to hold the ceremony in the gardens. The coffin went off to the only remaining structure which was the kiln.

She misunderstood when he said "C'mon baby, light my fire..."?

Anyhoo, I warned my Dad that they'd better have back-up fireys waiting at his cremation 'cos he'd burn with a bright blue flame and it might take a while for it to go out, and it could get out of hand.

We had a laugh about that, he and I, before he died.

I would imagine it'd be a bit disconcerting to find the crematorium burnt when your Dad was due there for his final appointment.
