There's already a price on carbon dioxide - it is listed in the markets as $0.10c/ton.

*they mean carbon dioxide...

Humans exhale carbon dioxide. So if we all stop exhaling the problem will be solved.

Price for carbon?
It depends on how sparkly and pure your carbon is.
Carbon prices at this Brisbane market top out at $US 5300/ct including GST.
That works out at $US 26,500,000,000 per tonne for good quality, pure, elemental carbon.
