Unions protest

Unions in Queensland, particularly the Public Service Unions, are protesting that the new LNP/Newman State Government is cooking the books in saying that things are as bad as they are as far as the Queensland Government's finances are concerned.

Funny, not a peep out of the unions when the ALP was running the state into the ground.

All the Brisbane Times article does is point out that it looks very bad measured one way and bloody awful measured another way. Nothing changes the fact that Australian Government expenditure as a proportion of GDP is a frightning 34% and we need to match places like Hong Kong and Singapore at around 13%

The Spud Peeler still has problem with elementary concepts such as "time", and with correct meanings of words such as "deficit" and "debt".
