How does Griffith University get away with lifting a concept from Stargate?

I can't find anything on the web to show you, but in the advertisement on TV at the moment Griffith students step through a doorway which looks surprisingly like a stargate, the keys on the side pop in and out, and the gateway then folds up on itself and vanishes.
