Message to HP Support from Iraq

Deployed soldier contacted HP Support as his printer/copier/fax wasn't working...

Was told he'd have to pay for advice on how to get the p/c/f working....

His reply:

Update:
Thanks to Stacks, this is HP's reply from 2006...

PS
I thought it was amusing... how often have we wanted to shoot the crap out of something electronic that isn't cooperating?

I've always wanted to shoot the TV and then have another one wheeled in.

Maybe next time I watch Avatar.

Seems like an average day at work when the server goes down, except we only have nail guns not gun....guns, i think that made sense.

This example shows the way forward to ensure proper governance. Once a year by popular vote, one MP and one public servant should be shot for uselessness.

This would lead to a higher standard of competence and spin would die a natural death. Public servants would again become as they named, servants of the public.

The benefits of this system would far outweigh any costs involved by billions of dollars. Only saying.
