Along the Laidley-Forest Hill Road 110111 Floods

Beyond the bridge over the creek there are local flood waters which have entered the town which is to the left of the picture. You can just see water over the road in front of the 4wd which crossed the bridge in front of me. I saw no point in going in there, and I didn't want to get trapped in this area as water was rising in front of the Bill Gunn Dam wall and crossing the road in places (see below).

There's a lot more water to come, I hope people are aware of that. It takes 8 hours for the rain which falls up the valley to reach this bridge, I'd expect more water over this bridge at about 3 or 4pm.
