Today is the day!
******
A slow day at the polls, not a morning hammering like there has been before when I've worked anywhere near the polls.
I'm wondering what's going to happen in my electorate!
Oh, and the ALP holds their supporters in the Lockyer Valley in so much contempt that they didn't even bother to have anyone handing out "how to vote" cards!!
Amazing - the lost seats:

I haven't seen much of Bligh except for the time of the Brisbane floods where she appeared on TV and did quite well in my view.
But the attacks on her political opponent shows how dopey she must really be.
Go Anna Go.

Bligh played the statesman well during the disasters, however, she was only reading out prepared statements from the rescue organisations, etc.
She didn't "do" anything much, it was Newman (Brisbane Mayor and organiser of the Mud Army), and ordinary people away from the government who did things to help flood victims!!
She's lied to Queenslanders, I hope that's come home to them!

She's going, going..... gone!

Hello stranger! How are you going?
Unfortunately I only had time to vote once... no ALP members turned up in the Valley at all, apparently they made this decision four weeks out from the election. That's a big smack in the face for those who support Labor come hell or high water...
I have some fizzy pinot noir chardonnay to celebrate with tonight! Hurrah!
fizzy pinot noir chardonnay eh?
God, lass you know how to tease a man.
maybe next time I'm in Brisbane we might organise a get together.
How far from B are you?
Cheers LM
I'm out past Ipswich, LM.
Less than 10 seats and she loses party staus - it is looking good. :)
Good one Queenslanders. Enjoy!
Next one, Julia!
Well done Queensland!
Only if do half as well in the big one.
