Kerry Stokes recently purchased the Victoria Cross of Major Peter Badcoe and it will be the third he has returned to the War Memorial since 2006. Click on the Australian War Memorial and visit a truly remarkable Australian memorial.

Kerry is one of our extremely undervalued Australian heroes.
Years ago, when Ray-the hair helmet- Martin, was still fronting A Current Affair, he was interviewing Kerry Stokes after the debacle of WAinc.
He asked Mr Stokes, why he hadn't been involved in all the skull-duggery and obviously illegal goings on at the time.
Kerry answered Martin quite simple, "I wasn't invited".
There's a good reason Kerry Stokes wasn't a member of one of Australia's most corrupt cabals ever.
Mr Stokes has always been a particular Australian hero of mine.
