Justice for Lauren Huxley today

Lauren Huxley, horrifically injured in a savage bashing in her family home, has received justice today, with the sentencing of

Robert Black Farmer, 39, showed no emotion as Justice Peter Hall told him he would spend 24 and a half years in jail with a non-parole period of 20 years for the 2005 attack in which he beat Ms Huxley with a pair of fibro cutters, doused her in petrol and set her Northmead home alight while she lay dying on the garage floor.
Still, too soon:
Taking into account the time in jail he has already served, Farmer cannot be released until 2026.

kae, Farmer may get out earlier, but not alive. He may have problems with another prisoner.

You could be right. There is a brand of 'rough' justice that operates in gaols.

Why are we paying for this piece of garbage to sit in a comfortable jail?

Please don't tell me it's because we're civilised.

It's the affected family that should turn the screw on animals like this. And if Lauren was my daughter I'd be calling for his death.
