Neil Mitchell measures the PM

But after six months, who or what is Kevin Rudd?

If he trusted the voters with the truth they'd give him a fair go but he is so wary of making a mistake they don't know what he stands for.

Perhaps he is still settling into the job and perhaps behind the apparent coldness there is a lack of confidence.

But at the moment, there is no public persona for people to believe or trust: just a blond head with a blank face and a never-ending sentence.
I don't think there'll be any trust out there at all soon, it's been evaporating faster than the Murray/Darling, sweeties.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Mr Mitchell now mentioning that which was often said during the Election campaign, and ignored by a portion of the public intelligentsia?

Cheers

You're right, minicapt.
it's just that quite a few people didn't see it, or didn't hear it when they were told as much.
