It's been a bit wet here tonight...
After about 58mm since Sunday's effort here (only a few mm fell, with a bit of wind), tonight I've had 40ml in only 15-20 minutes. No wonder this happened...
And it's still pouring an hour later! (After a short intermission...)
The flash flooding, heavy rain, high wind warnings are running across the TV screen.

Phew. I'm glad I kept reading. I thought for a moment that was puppy wee.
Well, he does tend to hang on to it... for a long time... and wait until he's conveniently in a room he's not allowed in, or a room he's not in often and... well... I know what Niagra Falls sounds like now!
It's still pouring. Most definitely will be flooding between here and Ipswich.
Hey! Did I tell you I bought the Ixus 80? It's good, light and easy. But the pictures are HUGE and take FOREVER to upload. I have to put them into photobucket to get them on the blog (they take about 5 minutes each or more, still!).
Just a tad wet, eh? Life and limb, are in good shape I take it?
For anything else...Tiz why God made insurance.
Is this your version of our hurricane season, Kae?
I open all my photos in paint.net and shrink them by 50% before uploading. That tends to reduce thse size from 3-5mb down to about 400kb. Makes uploading much faster.
paint.net is a freebie.
There was 126 mm (5") dumped on us last night. That takes our total to 251 mm (9.9") since it started on Sunday.
With all the dams about to overflow, Premier Bligh picked a great time to introduce recycled urine (and worse) into SEQ's drinking water.
Thanks for the photo-essay kae. Somehow blogs like this convey it better than newspapers...
That'll be that pesky global warming again, Kae. It's been so warm down here in Melbournistan I've got the heater on again.
Glad you didn't get toooo flooded out.
Glad you are OK, Kae. Been remiss in not commenting here... too busy with the work side of life.
