Car crash - on their way home.
The Tent Hill slasher accident in which a four year old child was killed occurred when the child fell from his father's lap while his father was slashing. I know it's common and I know people do it all the time. The bloke up the street from me was mowing with his toddler on his lap, I've seen neighbours do it all the time.
