Rhinoceros beetle.

I heard a weird noise outside the kitchen window (frog community centre), and went to investigate. These beetles make a hissing noise, a bit like heavy breathing with asthma (not that I'd know what THAT sounds like... I'm just guessin').
I saw a dead one the other day and thought I should photograph it but didn't get a chance to. I haven't seen any around since first moving into the house back in 1993-4.
