Kim Barry murder.
I work with a bloke who grew up in the Woollongong area. He's the same age as me. We were talking one day about our proximity to dangerous situations. I mentioned that a g/f and I used to hitchhike years ago in the area where Ivan Milat used to hunt... people. I have other connections to places where murders and other things have happened.
Anyway, he told me that he and some friends used to stay at a shack at Helensvale or near there and one day this weird bloke was there with them, he wasn't a close friend, but they welcomed him to their shack.
Turned out he was the suspect or the murderer. They felt that he was weird from the start.
