LNP Qld still 51% to 49% two party preferred

Let's hope that Queenslanders have woken up.

This should be another nail in the ballot box for the ALP...

CMC sports probe.

ANNA Bligh's campaign has been rocked by revelations that the CMC has expanded a sports rorts investigation into a web of Labor factional links.

And in a further blow to Ms Bligh, the latest Newspoll shows she has suffered a massive swing against her since calling the state election, with the Liberal Nationals narrowly in the lead.

The LNP leads Labor by 51 to 49 per cent on a two party preferred basis, a significant turnaround from the 2006 election that the Beattie government won with 54.9 per cent of the vote.

One can only hope, pray, hope, pray. Springborg presented really well on Insiders on Sunday morning, beating off the ratty CM journo who wanted to nail him on business contacts.

Do you like it when Bligh is interviewed and she can't look straight at the person asking the question. Her beady eyes flick everywhere while she tries hard to impress as a leader, but only comes over as the new carer at the old age home. She's also trying hard to appear everywhere as the weather girl giving the updates on Cyclone Hamish. Mehaul.

Mehaul - I don't see much of Qld politics but am I imagining things with the observation that Bligh seems to be always trying to smile? Perhaps she has been told by her minders to smile at the camera. Just musing. Cheers.

It'd be about bloody time if Springborg and Co. pull it off. Long overdue in fact.

Wand. Smiling spontaneously in a political sense does seem to be a struggle for her. May it continue. Cheers. Mehaul.

Bligh may have to walk the plank?

Egg, that sounds mutinous to me.
