on the one hand, I agree. On the other hand, there will eventually be a flu pandemic. It will happen. So I can understand the media going into a frenzy asking "is this it? is this the one?"
By the way, other disasters that will happen: a devastating earthquake in California (they'll at least be prepared) and a devastating earthquake near Memphis/St Louis (they won't be prepared).
