Who died and made Kevvie the Queen of the World?

was my first reaction to Kevin Rudd's demand that Malcolm Turnbull produce the email or resign... The email really has no bearing on the whole incident.

The question is, did Wayne Swan, the Treasurer of Australia, mislead Parliament? Following closely on that question is the second question, did Kevin Rudd, the Prime Minister of Australia, mislead Parliament?

The ALP is spinning like a centrifuge!

The earwax king is on the kevinthirty report. Red Kerry actually isn't doing a soft interview. My worldview is taking a battering today.

Methinks the Kevvi fan club has a very 'exclusive' membership ...

The MSM has a lot to answer for by buying the whole email codswallop and giving it more credibility tonight. The Libs biggest enemy is the MSM.

Egg - you may be right

Mehaul - you are definately right, the focus by the MSM should have been on the other information implicating swan, not a single piece of the puzzle.

Methinks the ALP knows Turnbuckle all too well and that his impetuosity would get the better of him over the enticing 'email' story ...

ALP spin produces many myths. Then they are presented as history.

Looks like the fingers are now pointing at Grech, himself ...

The 87.6% of media types who are on the side of the ALP are quite shameless in following the new paradigm, which is to continue to kick the Libs in opposition. When the Lib/Nats are in government this is presented as "keeping the government under proper scrutiny". How many believe that the Howard government would have been given the pass that the Ruddites have received this time around? And is a mole, informant or whistleblower characterised in the media as good or nasty depending on who is in government?

Turnbuckle had Swan on the ropes and went for a KO on Rudd but slipped-up on a Grechlin, doh!

Unfortunately for Turnbuckle, courtrooms are effectively a controlled 'post mortem' of events far removed from the real world (e.g. politics), where 'surprise evidence' and multiple opponents are just a part of the ever-changing dynamics ...
