A letter...

My friend wrote a letter to The Australian.
CONGRATULATIONS on your editorial “The terrorists know they will never win” (18-19/7). A growing number of Westerners have realised that despite the cries of Islamists and their Western supporters, the cause of Islamic terrorism is not occupation, poverty or Israel but (as the name might suggest), Islam.
The next day an apologist defended the death cult from accusations that it is the root of modern terrorism.

A comparison was drawn with the IRA.

A statement was made that most of the attacks were caused because of occupation, and most occurred in the countries of occupation. Interesting, that.

Who has occupied Indonesia? The take over of Indonesia seems to be progressing apace, but it's not imperialist westerners, nor is it Christians or members 'other' religions, no sons of pigs and monkeys either.

Yesterday Janet Albrechtsen had published "The hate that dare not speak its name".

THE bodies of slain Australians in Jakarta were not yet back in the country when a new report warned us last week against referring to Islamo-fascists as—dare one say it—Islamo-fascists. If we want to reduce alienation and radicalism among young Muslims we must watch our language, says A Lexicon on Terror, a book compiled by the Victoria Police and the Australian Multicultural Foundation.

Multicultural Foundation head Hass Dellal told The Age that the wholesale branding of Islam with violence and extremism was of great concern.

Speaking at a conference last week Stephen Fontana, the assistant commissioner for counter-terrorism co-ordination, said that “a comment we think is harmless, some communities read as an attack”.
Around the same time as my friend's letter appeared in The Australian I received an email from a friend of many years. It was supposedly sent to the newspaper by a disgruntled Canadian housewife. I tend to agree with her sentiments wholeheartedly.

'Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001 and have continually threatened to do so since?

Were people from all over the world, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan , across the Potomac from the nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania ?

Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?

And I'm supposed to care that a few Taliban were claiming to be tortured by a justice system of the nation they come from and are fighting against in a brutal insurgency.

I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.

I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere belief of which is a crime punishable by beheading in Afghanistan.

I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat.

I'll care when the cowardly so-called 'insurgents' in Afghanistan come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques and behind women and children.

I'll care when the mindless zealots who blows themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.

I'll care when the Canadian media stops pretending that their freedom of speech on stories is more important than the lives of the soldiers on the ground or their families waiting at home to hear about them when something happens.

In the meantime, when I hear a story about a CANADIAN soldier roughing up an Insurgent terrorist to obtain information, know this:

I don't care.

When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank:

I don't care.

When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and 'fed special' food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being 'mishandled,' you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts:

I don't care.

And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled 'Koran' and other times 'Quran.' Well, Jimmy Crack Corn you guessed it,

I don't care!!

If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this on to all your E-mail friends. Sooner or later, it'll get to the people responsible for this ridiculous behaviour!

If you don't agree, then by all means hit the delete button. Should you choose the latter, then please don't complain when more atrocities committed by radical Muslims happen here in our great Country! And may I add:

'Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Soldiers don't have that problem.'

I have another quote that I would like to add, AND.......I hope you forward all this.

One last thought for the day:

Only five defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
1. Jesus Christ
2. The Australian Soldier
3. The British Soldier.
4. The Canadian Soldier.
5. The US Soldier

One died for your soul, the other 4 for your freedom.

YOU MIGHT WANT TO PASS THIS ON, AS MANY SEEM TO FORGET ALL OF THEM
islam is violent, misogynistic, repressive, destroys free will and destroys prosperity.

I have eyes to see; I have ears to hear. I don't see any mass protests about bombings; I don't hear any condemnation with conviction of these horrific activities (cutting off heads, hanging homosexuals, murdering wives and daughters by stoning, and other bloodthirsty happenings in these sectarian countries). I only hear and see accusations of my bias and "racism", of the bias and racism of the west, and the explanation that someone is mistaken in their reading of the guide book.

I don't care. Excuses. Someone draws a cartoon, someone publishes a cartoon, someone makes a movie, someone reports the truth... riots in the streets, murders, beheadings. Not the neighbours I'd choose.

And I have misconstrued.

What is the attraction of being compelled to live like a man in his fifties who married a six year old child, consumated that marriage when the child was nine; a man who raped, pillaged and plundered his way across the known world and created a guide book for his followers so that over a thousand years later he's still raping, pillaging, plundering and murdering.

Political correctness is the weakness which will bring our downfall.

Just remember:
"You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: When men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks, and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."
-Sir Charles Napier, as quoted by Mark Steyn: http://www.ocregister.com/ocregister/opinion/homepage/article_1070454.php

Right and wrong, good and evil… it’s a tough choice.

After forty days and forty nights alone in the desert, hallucinating, what did Jesus do?

He said no to temptation and to the promise of unlimited power and world domination.

What a lost opportunity!

Oh well. Only a true prophet can turn rocks into bread, and sand into milk and honey.

Move over, Mohammed! When the oil runs out, Al Gore will save our mortal souls!
