Insiders

Coverage of the ETS bill.....

And the anti AGW protest outside Parliament House.

The blackout on Rudd...

Brian Toohey
Lenore Taylor
Michael Stutchbury - The Australian (he has er, interesting eyes)

Oh, Kev was having a bad hair day on 3AW... getting on with the business.

Your Shout
Tasmanian Fine Food Awards judges pass comment.
They're all nuts. They believe. We should cast Tasmania adrift... row you idiots. Waldorf and Sattler seemed to think that caution and care was called for.

Barnaby Joyce on the Rudd ETS and the Turnbull alternative ETS... (linky)

The Nationals leader in the Senate, Barnaby Joyce, told the Herald that ''if it's a choice between Rudd's scheme and Malcolm's scheme, I will prefer the latter.

''But please don't take that as an endorsement of the argument - they are both full of shit.''
Yawn, Brian Toohey. A believer.

Carbon Trading, CPRS, Cap and Trade, Renewable Energy Targets... what a steaming turd it all is. The panellists arguing which is the best scheme. Not one says that it will achieve nothing and put costs of everything through the roof. Not one says that Carbon DIOXIDE is not the driver of climate nor is it pollution.

How can there be so many fools in the world?

Final words were interesting, particularly Brian Toohey's comment on digging up soldiers' remains from mass graves in Europe, trying to find some tissue to do DNA and identify perhaps only 20% of the remains, then bury them again in groups of 20 per grave... He's right, it's a bit silly if there's only that level of accuracy identifying the men - and where will they get the DNA to identify those who have no living relatives?
