Some time ago when Mum returned from an overseas jaunt (AKA spending her children's inheritance), she gave me a book she'd bought second hand in London. I enjoyed reading the book.

There is a movie starring Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams which is to be released here on November 6th of the same name. It is a movie that I might make the effort to see before it's released on DVD. I will suspend my disbelief and see how I go - the cinematography looks brilliant.

I really enjoyed the book, I loaned it to someone and I haven't got it back yet...
That's why I thought the movie would be good. It's an interesting concept, though I think I'll need at least a box of tissues....
Maybe the movie will be different, but I have to say I hated the book, if only because I couldn't imagine a life more tragic.

I thought it was a tragic story, too. But it kept me reading to the end.
