Hoo-bloody-rah!

Best thing I've heard in a long time.

Japan will detain anti-whaling protester.
Mr Bethune, who was skipper of the conservation boat the Ady Gil, which sank after colliding with a Japanese whaling ship in January, jumped onboard the Shonan Maru 2 and attempted to present its skipper with a $3-million damages bill.

Three million dollars? It only cost about $2M.

Whaleboat? What whaleboat...

Yesterday's report said that he could face piracy charges.

If Bethune is taken to Japan and charged with piracy on the high seas, he should plead insanity.
That would be fairly easy to prove.

I don't know bubkiss about Maritime Law, but anyone boarding a ship without permission is considered a threat, isn't he?

Hang 'em from the...whatever passes for the yardarm on modern ships!

Afternoon Kae, this is actually one of the lead articles in the Japan times.

I'll go back & add a link later, but comments come in from not just Japan & Aust but all over the world and they are not very flattering to kevvi.

And yes it's a paid subscription to leave comment. ;)
