Poor little rich girl

Some people who should know better really do have too much money for their own good and much too high an opinion of themselves.

The smell of av-gas and grease was distateful to Ms Precious, so the groundcrew and refuellers were instructed that they had to stop whatever they were doing and make sure there was no smells while Precious walked the 30 feet from her plane to her car....

And even if this young man wasn't mentally disabled, what kind of star/celebrity with a reputation for being a compassionate, caring person treats people like this?

Don't bother reading the 500-odd page book, read this review!

So, what's she got to hide? It will all come out in the end, especially with these restrictive rules she has for her employees, and even anyone who comes into contact with her!

Thanks to Minicapt!

Another rich black person. If she was white? Well a different story.

Celebrity/star white people can be just as dreadful as her, it's not because she's black. Look at Kevin Rudd, couldn't get much whiter than him.

It's also that the book is out new now.

Kae, black is white, white is black. One standard is needed. But media doubles up all the time.

Friend of mine's brother went to UK to try and become a music star early 1970's. Got a job as Paul McCartney's roadie. Invited back to the house after the show - very chuffed. So at some point Paul started recording. His wife Linda's turn to sing, but she was at that time very shy of singing before strangers - must be just when she started. So Paul asked all the roadies etc to leave.

Well, we always said, 'What a bitch', but it struck me she was only human and we do put a lot of pressure on celebs, as if they are like gods. Back then someone even dubbed her the 'Cow with Wings' for her singing.

I have never liked Oprah much, from the very beginning. Not plastic, exactly, but entirely too...soft? Cute? Something. She never seemed 'real' to me.

I really don't like being right about these things as often as I have been...
