Concorde - 7 now

It's been on for a while.

I want to fly Concorde!

Ah, maybe not...

Concorde from its conception was an engineering nightmare, laden with Heath Robinson complications to achieve simple ends. These complications were an operational nightmare that made running costs ridiculous. Solving the complexities and rendering them simple, as was achieved by others would have made it successful. When inspector Clauseu and Heath Robinson collaborate you have a comedy of errors. Thus they built a flying close formation of unreliable spare parts, after great cost and development, my advice would be watch it from a safe place, rather than on it.
