Laidley Flood - where the water came to, compare images
This is a photo I took of the aftermath of the flood in Laidley on 11/1/11. I stood at the pedestrian crossing which is near the top of the town. I will try to get a better comparative photo when the town is empty - that'll be hard, because there's just about always people in town in daylight!

look above the Christmas decorations at that very leaden sky.
That is a fair bit of water, where did it end up? Hope the car owner was compensated by the insurance company for the damage done.
I'd blamed the Christmas decorations, too.
