Insiders - 3JUL11

Julia Gillard.

Does she ever say anything when she's interviewed?

She makes no apology.

What, for lying?

When asked questions she reverts back to slagging off at Tony Abbott and the opposition. Bringing up Work Choices.

You know the government  is  running scared when the only policy they spruik is running down the opposition. Abbott's a wrecker, blah, blah, blah.

They are the opposition. We are supposedly two years out from the next federal election and one of the major points  used by the ALP as a defence (clayton's defence!), is that the opposition, Tony Abbott, has no policies.

Truly, why can't people who support Julia and the ALP see that they have nothing but words?

Go there later and read the transcript of the inderview with Julia Gillard. Hear her talk about there will never be a bedder time to secure the prosperidy of Australia's economy. Country seems  to be the only word with the consonant "t" in it that she can manage to pronounce properly. It grates.

Probably the Bruce Hawker mantra, don't answer any questions, just keep going back to Tony Abbott. Believe Tony Burke was doing the same thing while being interviewed never answered any questions, according to a person on Piers Blog.

"Bedder, prosperidy?"Ok add it to the list.

She was probably schooled by Number-Boy.

Debatable that there has never been, or never will be, a "bedder" time ... if true, we are so f*cked. We must all hope she is wrong, and cross fingers that this is not such an important moment in time.

Me thinks she is, for the most part, grasping at a vision-thing.

As usual.

Add "assification"to the list Julia used that when describing the reef, instead of acidification.
[Saw that one over at one of the blogs].

What Caz said!

With what I see pouring forth from Labor Central in all its guises over the last few days - as one of those glitter paper showers they put out to confuse the radar in James Bond films - I am both furious and despondent about what is being bedded down by these evil people.

Forget about the children and the children of the children - every adult in Australia today is being conned mightily and ignored ONLY because a charlatan is determined to stay in power, her pardy is too gutless to ditch her, the Treasury is broke and they must have more tax income - thus the new oxygen tax.

If they announced the GST is to increase to 12% there would be riots. What they are doing by ill disguised stealth is exactly that.

Everywhere I look businesses are stumbling and falling. The US economy is staggering, while their own incompetent fop plays golf, and Australia will topple like a domino if it gets much worse over there.

Just today they announced $9,000,000,000 for overseas aid to salve the other bloke's ego. The Federal government borrows $1,500,000,000 per day - even the tiny SA government borrows $2,000,000 a day to pay their public servants; and the local garbage collection and road repair mob here are heading towards $1,000,000,000 debt. The public borrowings are staggering.

We are in deep trouble and it is about to get much worse.

Caz and Laura, Mick are two very, very good commenter's on Pier's blog, at times it is very hard to stop laughing at some of the things they come out with.

By the way you are correct, it is a cash grab, the electricity companies are rubbing their hands in glee as they see bags of cash coming their way. Only problem is that a lot of people won't be able to pay for it.
Did you notice that in Queensland the use of electricity was down in Summer so they raised their prices to recover lost monies?

The latest we hear is that Juliar will be "wearing out shou leather" to spread the message.

Shouldn't that actually be "wearing out moccasin sole rubber" ??? ;)
