In trouble

Mum's hair is white. It's been white for several years.

On Christmas Day Mum's hair wasn't white.

I didn't notice.

Isn't that a testament to the ability of the hairdresser?

Anyway, it looked good. Less age-ing.

I didn't notice.

This may put me into a spot of trouble....

The Child Bride decided a year ago, after paying something like $120 for a cut and colour, that it was all too bloody hard.
Went to her natural grey colour. I have to admit she looks quite good now - almost regal.

So what colour was it? Don't leave us in suspense.

Always tell your mother that her hair looks nice, even if it is pink, [happened to my mum a few times].

Mum's got someone who comes to her house to cut her hair, and I think they coloured it for her at home.
She had it done once before but she thought that it wasn't coloured enough.
The colour was a mix of different colours, a bit of her old colour before she went grey and some grey, it looked good. There was still some white in there, but it was er, blended? Is that the word? It did look good.

Hmmm sounds like a very soft gray, should look good.

Winston, mate, add a ton or so to that and you will be able to afford life on the Gold Coast with the Goddess.

For that price they fuss furiously every six weeks over her wild jet black mane, down to her backside, for about three hours.

When I collect her they stick me in a chair and wield the electric clippers for all of 60 seconds. They also laugh at me a lot.

I cut enough off and went without colouring long enough last year to know that I don't have enough gray to look anything but 'graying.' So started colouring again. Will check again when I turn 60...and the way things are with the family and the economy, I'm likely to be 100% gray by then. Mum is 100% since she was 50 or so, Dad was about 38% when he died at 58...seems I've gotten that gene.

Kae, if you're like me, you see her with your heart, not with your eyes. Only a spot of trouble if you tell her that!
