Same as my dad, Kae...couldn't get the VA to do anything when he complained about the pain in his gut. Gave him painkillers, anti-depressants, more painkillers, & enemas. By the time a civilian doc agreed to open him up and see, it had spread to his liver. He lived another 23 months.
