Climate scientists accused of 'manipulating global warming data' (UK Telegraph)

Some of the world’s top climate scientists have been accused of manipulating data on global warming after hundreds of private emails were stolen by hackers and published online.

The material was taken from servers at the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit – a world-renowned climate change research centre – before it was published on websites run by climate change sceptics.

It has been claimed that the emails show that scientists manipulated data to bolster their argument that global warming is genuine and is being caused by human actions.
One email seized upon by sceptics as supposed evidence of this, refers to a “trick” being employed to massage temperature statistics to “hide the decline”.

Yeah, someone explained away the "tricking" of data as a technical, scientific term for, um, making it easier/better to understand.

Yeah. Like the expression "cooking the books" means, in accounting parlance, creative accountancy.

Among the most damaging is one which appears to suggest using a ‘trick’ to massage years of temperature data to ‘hide the decline’.

None of the other MSMs seems to have adopted the "AGW is a Scam" line... yet.

Just heard on ABC news that, now wait for it, the rate of obesity has remained the same over the past ten years, and the only obese people around are the ones ready to retire. (Damnit! I can't find a link.)

Shit, that's going to throw them into chaos, first any action taken by Australia to limit AGW* is shown to be a pup, then there is no increasing obesity!

*I know AGW is a scam.
