Slavery is still a terrible problem
Even in these days of enlightenment slavery is still a problem. I have been sent some information on a site which has been set up for the liberation of Garden Slaves.
I'm enslaving a new gnome...Amazon has adorable little guys dressed in college colors. Handsome Son-in-law's birthday is coming up, so he's getting one dressed in University of Florida Gator colours. They don't have a garden, so the little bloke will have to guard the enclosed patio instead!
