Happy New Year from Australia

Photobucket

In NSW it's already 2009.

In Queensland it will be 2009 an hour after that.

Happy New Year, Kae. We've still got about 8 and a 1/2 hours to wait here but - as we're drinking on Aussie time - we should be all liquored up in time for midnight! :)

Hi Dylan
It's been stinking hot here in Bris today, er, yesterday, so I'll be awake for a while - it's still pretty hot in the house.
Thanks for the Happy New Year, could you please send me some of that Climate Change from Europe?

0105 here in Perth. still hot as Hades after 40C here today, I am pissed as a newt, God knows what I am doing on the net at this time of night.

Foxtel's Country Music Channel has "30 Best Drinking Songs" on, so being weak and easily led, I figured I should do as I am told, Crownies need just a slight counterclockwise twist to access their amber goodness, as I have just discovered. (Ha!)

All the best for the New Year to Kae and the rest of the RWDB ratbags that pop up round here from time to time.

O/T, but Casey Chambers is a bit rough round the dial isn't she?
(Not that there is anything wrong with that :-)

Hi Pedro
35 in Bris
39 in Ipswich
33 in my house
38 under the carport
probably about 40 or 41 outside in the sun.

It's taken ages to cool down, but it's 19 now. It's supposed to get up to 38 tomorrow, today was supposed to be 37, and then it will be cooler on Friday, 33, with 27 & 28 on sat and sunday and 28 and rain on monday.
Check weatherzone for Ipswich and add a few degrees (in the winter, subtract those few degrees).

Still almost five hours until the New Year here in the Rockies.

A bit of Mexican food and a couple of jumbo Margaritas have put me in the proper mood to welcome in 2009 and the ascension of The Obama in a just twenty days.

Happy New Year to all!!!

Zardoz. I hope he keeps ascending, and ascending and ascending until all you can see is the soles of his shoes. He will prove to be the greatest media con trick of all time. Mehaul
