“Some people are like Slinkies - not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.”
Must be them Austrian rats, downunder?
Not sure where CSI is supposed to happen but marsupial rats and mice are a diverse group of about 40 species of small, native carnivores of Australia, Tasmania, and New Guinea, in the family Dasyuridae. As indigines they are, of course, protected species. But as they look, behave and smell like placental rats and mice, I just kill them anyway, without checking for poucnes.
That doesn't look right. Delete indigines insert indigenes.
It's only you Antipodeans who have those exotic, marsupial vermin. In my part of the world, they're just vermin.
