Lockheed plant wartime disguise

Found at Bolt's forum today a link to this amazing piece of wartime camoflage...

It is truly amazing!

My father told me that during the war the Bankstown aerodrome buildings were disguised as blocks of home units.

That's amazing, mike rafone!

There were some amazing things done to disguise various things and protect them from attack during the war. My dad spoke of it sometimes when I was a kid, then I read this book - http://www.amazon.com/War-Magician-David-Fisher/dp/0425062953 a few years back. Just fascinating stuff! Thanks for the pics and the memories, I may have to read it again.
