NSW Government puts up $50m bid to keep NRL Grand Final in Sydney. Get the details here.No stinking link, except to twitter crap. I'm not on twitter or facebook, so can't see this. Oh, wait. Here you go. Found it!
THE State Government has made a staggering $50 million offer to the National Rugby League to ensure the Grand Final stays in Sydney for the next decade.
In the wake of the Queensland Government's bold attempt to snatch the state's biggest sporting event, the unprecedented offer was made after the NRL scoffed at Premier Kristina Keneally's initial bid - rumoured to be $2.6 million per year.

Saw that kae and wondered the same thing where is that $50 million coming from, as they are very close to being broke.
Funny thing for the last few years here in S.A. the Government has been saying how there was very little money for anything, but during the election were out spending like there was no tomorrow so once again where were they hiding all the money? Merilyn
