Belanglo Forest reveals more secrets?

Skeletal remains have been found in the Belanglo State Forest, where Ivan Milat disposed of the bodies of the backpackers he murdered.

It is yet to be confirmed that these remains are human.

It would make sense that there are more secrets regarding Milat and the missing.

Update:
The remains are human.
Police media release.
More information on the discovery and the backpacker murders for which Milat was convicted.

Hmmmm, there are still those two missing nurses, who were hitchhiking quite a few years back, and there was a question over whether he was in the area at the time.

Hi Merilyn
In the article at the third link in the updates there is mention that there are still 10 missing backpackers.
I don't know how many people went missing in NSW in those days... I doubt he would have started only with those backpackers in those years - he was working along the Hume Highway in the 70s.

I recall watching a TV special about Milat, and the police officer in charge of the investigation (Clive Small?) said he always believed that there may be more bodies in the Belanglo state Forest, and that Ivan Milat may not have acted alone in the murders.

There has always been suspicion about other members of the Milat family.
We will probably never know the full story.
