Gillard's serious policy?

The serious policy in schools was announced today... they're going to reward schools which improve their students' performance with more money.

I would have thought that finding out why students are not doing well, and why a school's performance is below par would be the most important thing, and then if the problem can be fixed with more money for training or facilities then those schools should be helped.

What do you think?

Read more here... along with some crap about Labor strategists being horrified about Mark Latham bullying Gillard. Boo-f'kn-hoo!

What do I think? I think that Gillard will destroy education in this country if she is given half a chance.

She is already half way there what with her socialist vision in terms of the NAPLAN tests and the My Schools Website.

GILLARD does not care about educating our children at all. She cares about indoctrinating them.

SHE is a hard core radical socialist.

I can only hope that AUSTRALIA somehow wakes up to this.

She must be stopped.

Patrick, you have put your finger on it, and Kae you are right to, when schools have a problem they are the ones who should be helped.
Have to say, some of the teachers are really not that good either, and that is occuring in all schools, both public and private.

Kae, have you seen the Gillard/Latham video over at Bolt's blog? At no stage does she look threatened, or worried, in fact I couldn't even see the so called handshake, just Julia patting Latham on the shoulder/arm.
So it looks like this whole incident is a "beat-up" by certain people in the media.
