Coldest June day in 95 years...

In Brisbane.

It was freezing here yesterday, 4C the lowest temp and it didn't get above 11C. I can't find any news into about it though!

Brr.

Will upload road trip photos later.

Too tired now.

Update 11Jun11
Crikey, just went outside to get firewood and it's raining. I've just tossed the rest of the firewood under the carport. Shoulders and hands hurtin', but at least when it stops raining and the skies are clear I'll have dry wood for my fire!

16 degs here, almost like summer. When it goes beyond 20, we have to shut down lest heat stroke cases rise.

Cheers

Send that to Algore the Idiot!
Global Warming? Yeah. Right.

It is 12.6 here at the moment and tipped to be 15 but doubt it will reach that. [4 this morning, and we have had some 0's, May was the coldest in 21 years]. Could sure use some of that "warming"].

How were the "kidz"? Like PC would like you to give them a hug from me to.

This is why they stopped calling "global warming" and now refer to it as "climate change"!

I do it every year kae, claim it is unseasonably cold. Then I go back and look at the record (BOM data collected as much to keep playing with Excel analysis as any other reason) to find I am a delusional sook!

It's happened again this year - the daily minimum and maximum temperature for these past 11 days remains fairly much the same year to year. The minimum is only 2 below the past 4 year's average and the maximum is just 1 below.

'07 15 min 23 max
'08 16 & 23
'09 12 & 21
'10 13 & 22
'11 12 & 21

I must now tell me that I'm dreamin' again in 2011!

Regards,
Mick
