I can't get the push mower started. Blasted thing. It stared fine in January...
It's turned cold today, the sun was out this morning however it's overcast and raining now.
I'm delighted, however, because I'm going through some things and I've discovered my jewellery I used to wear when I was in my 20s! I have found the necklace I was given for my twentieth birthday. I thought I'd lost it, but I found it in a jewellery box I had forgotten - tucked away in the top of a cupboard.
Woohoo. Lots of goodies there. Pretty things. Memories, too
Friday night was interesting. In the shower about to wash my hair and the water just stopped.
Arrgh!
So annoying. Dried off, grabbed the torch, checked the pump and switched off the power to the pressure pump at the power point. Noticed no TV or anything operating off the power points. Hmm. Looks like a fuse/trip thingy. Checked the meter box. Yup. The thing is tripped. Reset it, back to the pressure pump, turned it on again, it ran. Back inside to finish the shower. It's been OK, but I get a sound I hear out the back like the buzz of a noisy fluoro, or a motor with power but not working.... I wonder if there's something wrong with the grey water pump?
Will probably have to call an electrician eventually. And you can bet your bottom dollar that it will be at the most inconvenient time!

Given you hear a funny buzz, you probably shouldn't 'wait for next time' before calling the electrician. Before the end of this month would sound like a good idea to me.
Cheers
Hi Mini
Yeah, I think so, too! It's a public holiday here today so I'll be calling the electrician tomorrow.
It still seems to be pumping out the grey water, but it hums occasionally, too.
It makes a noise like an electric element when it's first turned on, or the buzz of a fluorescent tube when it's on.
